Architecture Festival is a building design competition that seeks solutions to problems in the competition theme, this competition assesses the concept of the building and the solution

This time, the theme of the event discuss about the rising sea water caused by melting ice chunks in the Arctic region due to global warming. The existence of this phenomenon will make us think about a possibility in the future that some land areas, especially lowland areas, will be inundated by rising sea water.

From these problems, this theme challenge us to think about what we can do, what we can try and what we can think about, because apart from increasing sea levels, the human population will also continue to increase so that the need for land expansion will be even greater. Because people need space to live and the increase of human population means that we will need more space to live. With rising sea levels, there will be less space on land and eventually the percentage of sea will be far greater than the percentage of land.  Therefore with this theme, participants can develop and share their solution ideas about how to managing sea levels through this competition. Perhaps, maybe there will be an example of solutions such as amphibious architecture or floating architecture.
